This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

This is a quick and easy recipe for salisbury steak with ingredients that you probably already have on hand.

1 can (10.5 ounce size) cream of onion soup
1 1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1 medium egg, beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 dash black pepper
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
In a large bowl, mix together 1/3 cup of the onion soup with the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Shape into oval patties.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the beef patties on both sides. Pour off excess fat.
In a small bowl, blend flour and remaining soup until smooth. Mix in ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard powder. Pour over meat in skillet. Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until meat is cooked through.
Serve the patties with the gravy over cooked noodles or mashed potatoes.

This recipe was a little different but still delicious! I didn't have any onion soup on hand so I just used cream of mushroom. It still turned out oh-so-good though. Must try this recipe!
