ingredients
4 cod fillets
4 tablespoons lemon juice
1 orange, sliced
1 tomato, sliced
1 onion, sliced into rings
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons dry white wine
1 lemon, cut into wedges
directions
Place fish into a dry glass baking dish. Squeeze lemon juice over fish. Arrange alternate slices of oranges and tomatoes over top of fish, and then spread onion rings on top again. Arrange remainder of onions and the mushrooms around the sides of fish.
Sprinkle seasonings over fish and surroundings. Sprinkle wine over all ingredients. Cook in an ordinary moderate oven for about 30 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.
