Marinated Shark Steaks

Shark steaks done right. A soy sauce marinade gives a real bite to the fish and a quick broil is a great choice for cooking this meaty fish.

ingredients

1 1/2 pound shark steaks
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar or wine vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
minced green onions

directions

Cut shark steaks into serving sizes. Place in a glass dish.

Combine soy sauce, vinegar, lemon juice, oil, parsley, garlic, and black pepper. Pour over fish. Marinate for 30 minutes, turning once.

Remove fish, reserving marinade. Broil 4-6 inches from heat, about 4 minutes per side. Brush with marinade before turning.

Serve with minced green onions and parsley.
