ingredients

1 1/2 teaspoon bread machine yeast
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
5 tablespoons white sugar
3 1/4 cups bread flour, plus more if needed
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons dry powdered buttermilk
3/4 cup apple pie filling
1 1/2 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup apple juice, plus more if needed

directions

Combine all the ingredients in the bread machine in the order recommended by your machine manufacturer. Set the machine for white bread, light crust.

Adjust the liquid or flour amounts as needed after the machine has turned the ingredients into a dough. The amount of liquid needed will depend on how thick or thin the apple pie filling is that you use.

When the bread has baked, remove the pan from the machine and set on a trivet. Let the bread cool in the pan for 3-4 minutes, then gently remove the apple pie bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing or storing. Store the bread in an airtight container.

  1. Anonymous REVIEW:

I almost didn't try this bread because of the mixed reviews. But, I had all the ingredients and it's cheap to make so I figured what the hey. It turned out perfect! I don't know what I might have done differently than others but all i did was follow the directions. So if you are thinking of not trying this recipe because of the reviews you might want to reconsider because it worked fine for me!
