Cheesy O'Brien Egg Scramble

ingredients
1 package (28 ounce size) frozen O'Brien hash brown potatoes
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 can (10.75 ounce size) condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
1 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
12 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
directions
In a large skillet, prepare hash browns according to package directions. Sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper. Transfer to a greased 2.5 quart baking dish. Top with soup.
Set aside 1/2 cup bacon. Sprinkle remaining bacon over soup.
In another skillet, scramble eggs in butter until nearly set. Spoon over bacon.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted.

We made this for my family campout and everybody loved it! VERY good recipe!

Fixed for overnight guests and we all LOVED this recipe. Only one small problem, the author left off the final step which is to put the reserved bacon and shredded cheddar cheese on top before baking.
