INGREDIENTS:

2 pounds Beef round steak, cubed
1/2 cup flour
1 tablespoon curry powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup raisins
2 Apples;peeled, cored; sliced
1 cup diced onion
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 can Beef broth (14 oz)
2 Apples - unpeeled and finely chopped
fluffy rice


DIRECTIONS:

Mix flour and curry powder. Coat meat cubes with flour mixture. Place meat in crock-pot. Add garlic, raisins, sliced apples, onion, salt and pepper. Pour in broth and stir to blend.

Cover and cook on LOW setting for 8 to 10 hours or until meat is tender. Before serving, stir in additional curry powder to taste (up to 1 tablespoon) and chopped apples. Serve over hot rice.

very interesting combination of flavers. i found that it required double the liquid in order to form a sauce and i also doubled the cury at the end as it was a little sweet for my tast but that may be just me.
