This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

Simple homemade meatballs are shrouded in bacon to make... a super meatball. Hint: we like to brown the meatballs a little first before wrapping in bacon. That ensures that they cook through before the bacon gets too crispy.

1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup cold water
2 teaspoons onion powder
1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper
8 slices bacon, cut in half crosswise
Combine the ground beef, water, onion powder, and seasoned pepper in a bowl. Mix well. Form the beef mixture into meatballs using about 2 ounces of beef for each.
Roll a half-slice of bacon around each meatball and secure with toothpicks as needed.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook, turning as needed, until the bacon is crisp and the meatballs are cooked through.
If the meatballs aren't fully cooked, cover the skillet and cook for 3-5 more minutes or as needed.
