Dinner doesn't get much easier than this recipe! Just three ingredients: meatballs, barbecue sauce, and ketchup. That's it! You can also use homemade meatballs in this recipe, or any variety of frozen will work well. No need to thaw them either since they are precooked. Just cook in the crock pot until heated through. You can also make this into an easy appetizer, just use small meatballs and serve with toothpicks.

ingredients

16 ounces frozen meatballs, no need to thaw
18 ounces barbecue sauce
1/4 cup ketchup

directions

Place the meatballs, barbecue sauce, and ketchup in a slow cooker. Mix well.

Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4 hours or until the meatballs are heated through, stirring occasionally to coat the meatballs with the sauce.

Serve the meatballs with the sauce. Delicious over rice or pasta, or served on buns for a meatball sandwich.

These meatballs are easy and good. I can prepare dinner in under a minute and just put it all in the crock pot and come home to dinner. Going to try the idea of making meatball sandwiches. We normally just eat it with brown rice. I've also added a can of baked beans and that's really good.

I make mini meatballs from scratch and brown them then add to the crock with the sauce and ketchup. Great for parties. Sometimes instead of ketchup I add honey for a sweeter version.
