Hi Everyone, This is my recipe and I just want to clarify one part of the directions. It is important to work the butter into the flour/sugar mixture and incorporate it together to get the proper final product. If you don't want to use your hands you can use a kitchen aid mixer or food processor. The point is to mix it until the butter is fully incorporated so that when you make a fist with the mix in your hand it just holds together. If you mix it too much it will not be crumbly, too little and it will be too dry. Similar to biscuit dough before adding buttermilk. Hope that makes sense.
