Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

This three ingredient peanut butter fudge recipe is nearly foolproof. It only requires a few minutes of hands-on work, and you'll nail it every time.
1 package (12 ounce size) semisweet chocolate chips
1 jar (12 ounce size) peanut butter, creamy or crunchy
1 can (14 ounce size) sweetened condensed milk
Line an 8x8 baking dish with waxed paper and set aside.
Combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter in a microwave safe dish. Microwave on high heat for 1 minute then stir. Microwave 1 more minute then stir again. If the chips are not completely melted, add 15 seconds more cook time.
Stir the sweetened condensed milk into the melted chocolate. Mix well until the color is even. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until the fudge is firm.
Cut the fudge into 1-inch pieces. Store in an airtight container.

I haven't tried this yet, but I do have a chocolate fudge recipe that is almost identical to this one. The only difference is I use chocolate. I put everything in a microwavable bowl and cook it all at one time. I'm going to make this using the directions for the chocolate.
