This spicy marinara sauce packs a punch with just a handful of ingredients. Made easily in a crock pot, this sauce combines tomatoes, aromatic herbs, and a kick of garlic, perfect for pasta lovers.

2 medium onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 pounds canned whole tomatoes, undrained
4 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons dried marjoram
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 can (16 oz size) tomato sauce
3 medium bay leaves
Combine all the ingredients in the crock pot, stirring well to mix.
Cover the crock pot and cook on high heat for 4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
Remove the bay leaves before serving. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4-5 days. Can also be frozen for up to 6 months.
