1 link Cajun sausage (like andouille)
1 1/2 cup frozen black-eyed peas
4 cups water
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 pinch red pepper flakes
3/4 cup frozen cut green beans
salt and pepper, to taste
Slice the sausage into 1/2-inch rounds. Add the the crock pot along with the remaining ingredients.
Cover the crock pot and cook on high heat for 3-4 hours or until the ingredients are heated through. Serve hot.
