Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

My boyfriend and I tried this recipe and thought it was fantastic - it was very easy, took almost no time to prepare and an hour and a half later we had a very tasty dish! The crock pot did all the work!

My family didn't care for this recipe. I think it was the mixture of OJ with garlic and soy sauce. I don't think salmon is made for the slow cooker.
