Blackberry-Glazed Salmon

ingredients
1/4 cup blackberry jam
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
crushed red pepper flakes to taste
olive oil
2 pounds salmon fillet, preferably pieces of equal size
salt and pepper, to taste
directions
Preheat grill to medium high.
Combine blackberry jam with soy sauce, garlic and red pepper flakes in a small bowl. Lightly brush the flesh side of the salmon with olive oil.
Place salmon fillets, flesh side down, on the grill and cook for 5 minutes. Turn fish with a spatula, season with salt and pepper and brush on the blackberry glaze. Cook an additional 10 minutes, or until fish flakes with a fork.
