What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!

Everyone always seems to go with savory snack spreads, so this sweet cream cheese dip is an easy way to stand out from the crowd. Finely chopped cranberries and pecans elevate the texture and flavor in a big way.
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons frozen concentrated orange juice, thawed
1 tablespoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 orange, zested
1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
1/4 cup finely chopped dried cranberries
Combine the cream cheese, orange juice, sugar, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
Stir in the orange zest, pecans, and cranberries by hand. Transfer the cheese spread to a decorative serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or longer.
Remove from the refrigerator 15 minutes before serving. Garnish with orange zest, if desired.

The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

This dip is great for any party any time of the year. A wonderful change from the chip and dip you see at every party. Multigrain crackers added an extra crunch. I highly recommend it.

Very easy and festive for the holidays. Serve with any type of cracker...the oj concentrate and zest really give it a great, and unexpected, flavor!
