The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

ingredients
5 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup milk
assorted fruit
assorted cookies or cake cubes
directions
Place a double boiler over simmering, not boiling, water. Add the chopped chocolate. Cook, stirring, until the chocolate melts.
Stir the sweetened condensed milk into the chocolate and mix until it's all smooth.
Remove the top of the double boiler from the heat. Add the regular milk and stir well.
Let the dip cool to room temperature. Serve with fruit, cookies, or cake for dipping.
