Halloween Chocolate Covered Spiders
- add review
- #74071

ingredients
24 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
2 containers (5 ounce size) chow mein noodles
peanuts (optional)
raisins (optional)
directions
Melt chocolate chips in large bowl in microwave on low setting (stirring frequently) or in double broiler on stove.
Once all is melted, gently mix in chow mein noodles until all noodles are covered with chocolate. Add peanuts and/or raisins if desired. Peanuts and raisins add a nice effect, but if not everyone is a fan.
On large sheets of wax paper spoon mounds of chocolate covered "spiders" using a large spoon (about the size of a ping pong ball). Once the chocolate sets (approximately 1 hour depending upon humidity and room temperature) you're done!

Nutritional data has not been calculated yet.Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

Made these for my kids and they didn't care so much for the first batch. Then I eliminated the raisins and they liked them much better. Kids....you try to sneak something healthy in and they call you on it immediately. Easy recipe.
