Chocolate Streusel Pecan Muffins Recipe

Ingredients:
***Topping***
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter or margarine -- melted
1/4 cup chopped pecans
***Muffins***
1 package (11 1/2 ounce size) chocolate chips -- divided
1/3 cup milk
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
For topping, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter in small bowl with fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in pecans; set aside.
For muffins, in a medium microwave-safe bowl, microwave 1 cup morsels, milk and butter on medium-high for 1 minutes; stir. Microwave at additional 10 to 20 second intervals or until smooth when stirred. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, pecans and remaining morsels in a large bowl. Combine egg, vanilla and melted morsel mixture in a small bowl; stir into flour mixture just until moistened.
Spoon into greased or paper lined muffin cups, filling 2/3 full. Sprinkle with topping. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 5 minutes; remove to wirer rack to cool completely.
