2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup candied cherries, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
6 tablespoons butter, softened
Base
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup raspberry jam
1 package milk chocolate covered caramels
directions
To make the topping, combine all topping ingredients, mixing until crumbly. Set aside.
Combine flour, sugar and butter, mixing until crumbly. Press firmly into a greased 8" or 9" square cake pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until light golden.
Spread with jam and sprinkle chocolate caramel balls evenly on top. Sprinkle with topping. Bake 15-20 minutes longer, or until lightly browned. Cool completely, then cut into bars.
