1/2 cup beer
3 tablespoons sesame seeds
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cloves crushed garlic
8 pieces chicken


Combine the beer, sesame seeds, honey, Dijon mustard, black pepper, crushed garlic, and chicken pieces in a zip-top freezer bag.

Seal bag and store in freezer.

The night before you plan to cook it, let it thaw overnight in the fridge.

In the morning, dump all the ingredients from the bag into the crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.

Horrible meal. I used frozen chicken and only cooked it 1/2 the day (as my crockpot cooks hot). It tasted like "Nothing" according to my husband and just horrible for me. We threw it out. Don't waste your chicken.

Perhaps nycageleyes' crockpot is hotter than mine. I use frozen chicken however. a dozen frozen drumsticks, meat end down in the pot works great for me. I can leave in the AM and come home to a yummy dish to have over rice. I also recommend using sesame paste (tahini) instead of seeds. add a _little_ fresh ginger if you like it. You may find it's a 4 or 5.

This was the worst recipe I ever tried. I came home to BLACK chicken and it was just nauseating. I had to throw it out and dinner was wasted. We had to order out.
