This Italian cheese is so versatile that it can be used in both sweet and savory recipes from cheesecakes to lasagnas.

Disclaimer: these brownies will not, in fact, make you a fortune in the oil industry. Thanks to chocolate syrup and chopped walnuts or pecans, though, they're about as rich as can be. Oh, and that's not even mentioning the thick chocolate topping.
1/2 cup soft margarine
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 can (16 ounce size) chocolate syrup
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped nuts
Topping
1 cup margarine
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips
For Brownies: Cream margarine and sugar. Slowly add syrup, then eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in flour and nuts.
Pour into greased 13" x 9" baking pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes or until done.
For Topping: Combine margarine, sugar, and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until they are dissolved. Quickly spread on brownies.
Sprinkle with additional chopped nuts if desired.

I made this and I think using butter instead of margarine in the frosting would make it harden better. My family loved it though.
