The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

I took a few shortcuts in making these. I couldn't find prune baby food, so I used the prune/apple mix. I also used the egg whites that come in the carton. They came out slightly cakeish, but that was probably due to my lack of cooking skills. It definitely satisfies your sweet tooth when counting calories. For a girls night in or family treat, I totally recommend these!

I tried it thinking, hmmm, probably going to be gross. Pleasantly surprise, very tasty and my 4 year old even liked them!

these are simple and delicious. I would like a breakout though what they would count for diabetics/weight watchers in points value and exchanges. thanks.
These Brownies are delicious, but it should be noted that 1/2 cup of cocoa powder does contain 10g fat, so they are possibly not quite as low-fat as they appear.
10 grams of fat divided among 16 servings is pretty low fat - just don't eat the whole batch yourself!

WOW! i was a little sceptical about this recipe - until i tried it! fantastic melt in the mouth moist brownies - without the guilt! i had to change the recipe slightly, as i could not find prune baby food, i used 125g of bluberry and vanilla, but it worked well. i also used 2 eggs instead of 3 egg whites -i know it adds calories but is alot simpler!
