Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup milk
1 cup pecans -- chopped
1/4 cup irish cream liqueur

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat the sugar, margarine or butter, and cocoa powder in a large saucepan over medium heat until margarine melts, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat. Add the eggs and vanilla; beat lightly just until combined.

Combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Add flour mixture and milk alternately to the chocolate mixture, beating by hand after each addition. Stir in nuts.

Pour into a greased 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Place pan on a wire rack. While brownies are still hot, use a pastry brush to brush liqueur evenly over the top of the brownies. Cool completely.
