ingredients
2 1/4 cups crushed Rice Chex
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
directions
Toast almonds in butter. Mix all ingredients except ice cream.
Put half the dry ingredients in a 9-by-13-by-2-inch pan. Spread slightly softened ice cream over mixture. Top with remaining mixture.
Freeze. Serve by cutting into squares. Good topped with chocolate syrup or caramel syrup.
