Serves/Makes:   3 dozen

  

Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix
1/3 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 can (14 oz size) sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 package (6 oz size) brickle chips

Directions:

Combine cake mix, margarine, and 1 egg. Mix at high speed until crumbly. Press into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan.

In a small bowl beat sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla. Add pecans and brickle chips to milk mixture. Pour over cake mix base.

Bake at 350 for 25 to 35 minutes until a golden brown. Center may still be soft and will set as it cools. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
