ingredients

2 pork tenderloins, unseasoned
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup apple juice
1 cup apple jelly
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon cornstarch

directions

In a saucepan, add apple juice, apple jelly, and Dijon mustard. Bring this to a boil, making sure that all the mustard and jelly is mixed smoothly into the juice.

Add butter to the skillet. Sear tenderloins on each side. Remove to roasting pan.

Pour mustard/apple juice mixture into the pan. Bake for about 40-50 minutes at 375 degrees F, basting every 10 minutes.

Pour remainder of juice mixture from roasting pan into saucepan, bring to boil and add cornstarch to thicken.

  1. skidiva REVIEW:

I followed the recipe for the most part except that I used regular yellow mustard instead of dijon as I didn't have any. I also added 2 tablespoons of honey to the apple juice/jelly/mustard mixture while it was cooking. And 1 more tablespoon of honey towards the end when I was thickening the sauce. OMG!!!... it was good!!!!
