This recipe just gets everything right. Tenderloin is the perfect cut of pork for a long simmer in the crockpot, and the fruity combination of apples and balsamic adds a stellar sweet note.

Fantastic taste, easy to prepare. Served it with mashed butternut squash as a side dish, the different tastes really complemented each other.

This was a very easy recipe to make and it is delicious. I used a red delicious apple and sweet onion as that what I had available. I cooked on high for 5 hrs and it was very tender and falling apart. Definitely will be making again.

My crock pot cooks awfully fast so I only cooked this on low for 5 hours. Really good flavor, definitely a german taste to it like another reviewer said. This will be a staple recipe in our house now.

Easy to prepare - would classify as a 2 rather than 3 for difficulty level. The smell of pork and the balsamic vinegar made me cringe at first. I hate the thought of sour pork - but it tasted amazing! I would cook this again and can't wait to try the fruit and pork tenderloin also listed on this site.

Fantastic - almost German tasting. The pork was so tender and it was great over buttered noodles.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
