INGREDIENTS:
2 cans (16 ounce size) chickpeas or garbanzos, drained
1 can (8-10 ounce size) tomatoes with green chilies
1/2 onion, finely diced
1/2 bell pepper, finely diced
DIRECTIONS:
Combine the above in a pot and heat over medium heat. Simmer covered for about 10 minutes. Enjoy.

At first I wondered if this really would be "spicy" without any seasoning and just the Rotel tomatoes (tomatoes with green chiles). I'm pleased that it was. You, of course, could use one of the spicier habanero versions if you really want it on fire, but I liked it as is. It's also a really attractive dish with the variety of colors.
