what are brown beans? Can I use any type of cornmeal? and can this be made with gluten free flour? Thank you for this recipe - it sounds promising.
Brown beans are a type of bean - somewhat similar to kidney or pinto beans. Any cornmeal should be fine but you'd have to experiment with the gluten free flour as that is outside the scope of this recipe.
