Beans and Ground Turkey - CDKitchen.com

ingredients

2 pounds ground turkey
1 cup finely chopped onions
1/8 teaspoon cloves
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 cans (28 to 31 ounce size) baked beans, undrained
1 can (19 ounce size) cannellini beans, drained
1 can (15 ounce size) red kidney beans, drained
chopped green onions, if desired

directions

Place turkey in slow cooker; break apart with fork. Add all remaining ingredients; mix well. Cover; cook on low setting for 6-8 hours. Garnish with green onions.

cook's notes

We had this the other night and really liked it. It's sweet and has a good flavor. On top of that, it's high in fiber and calcium, and low in fat! (We used Bushes Baked Beans Original, which is sweet.) We are having it again this week!
