Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
This Italian cheese is so versatile that it can be used in both sweet and savory recipes from cheesecakes to lasagnas.

This recipe looks like it will be bland but it's actually quite good. It's a nice fix and forget meal. I get it in the oven and then get the kitchen ready for the next day and get kids started on homework. Next thing I know, dinner is ready!
I was just wondering why the recipe states that it's done in 5 hours but cooking time is 6-8 hours on low?.........just a though........haven't tasted ti yet but I'll let you know..
No, it says the recipe is ready in > 5 hours - which means GREATER THAN 5 hours which is just a category of cooking time we've assigned to it. Always follow the directions for the exact cooking times.
