Slow Cooker Italian Beef and Potato Casserole

ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
1 package (5.5 ounce size) scalloped potatoes
16 ounces can tomatoes
1 can (10.5 ounce size) pizza sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon basil
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup mozzarella cheese, cut into 1" cubes
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
directions
In skillet or slow-cooking pot with browning unit, brown meat until crumbly; drain off fat.
In slow-cooker, combine beef with dry sauce mix from package of scalloped potatoes, tomatoes, pizza sauce, water, salt, oregano, basil and garlic powder. Stir in dry potato slices. Cover and cook on low 4 to 5 hours.
Turn control to high. Stir in cubes of mozzarella cheese. Top with Parmesan cheese. Cover and cook on high for 10 to 15 minutes.

This was sooo easy and tasted great! Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this recipe. I was at my wits end looking for a doable recipe tonight! I had accidentally bought Italian seasoned ground turkey and could not find any recipe that wasn't basically spaghetti with meat. Thanks!
