Applesauce Pancakes With Syrup

ingredients
2 cups biscuit baking mix
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 can (16 ounce size) applesauce, divided
1 jar (10 ounce size) apple jelly
1/2 cup cinnamon
1 dash cloves
1 dash salt
directions
In a medium bowl, combine biscuit mix, eggs, milk and half of the applesauce. Beat until smooth. Bake on a hot, lightly greased griddle, using about 1/3 cup batter for each pancake.
SPICED APPLE SYRUP: In a small saucepan, combine the remaining applesauce, the apple jelly, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Cook and stir until jelly melts and syrup is hot.
