Spareribs In Cranberry Sauce

ingredients
1 cup cranberry sauce
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup tomato ketchup
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 package (7 ounce size) garlic salad dressing mix
8 pounds country-style or regular spareribs
directions
Combine sauce, water, ketchup, vinegar, olive oil and dressing mix. Stir until well mixed.
Place meat on rack in a large flat pan. Cook in a preheated oven at 450 degrees F for 20 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350 degrees F.
Remove meat from oven and pour off excess fat from pan. Brush ribs generously with cranberry basting sauce. Return to oven and continue cooking for 1 hour or until meat is very tender and nicely browned.
Baste and turn ribs 3 or 4 times during cooking.
