Chinese Ribs And Rib Sauce - CDKitchen.com

ingredients

1/4 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce (Peking sauce}
2 tablespoons red wine
1/2 teaspoon ginger
3 tablespoons honey
2 1/2 pounds slab pork spare ribs

directions

Mix all ingredients together except honey and ribs and split in two portions. Use one portion to lightly brush ribs on both sides. Let ribs set for several hours or overnight under refrigeration.

Place ribs on broiler pan. Cut ribs in pieces. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until done.

Turn oven to broil. Add honey to remaining mixture, brush ribs and broil each side a few minutes to glaze ribs.
