ingredients

2 racks spareribs, cracked in half lengthwise

Hickory Sauce

3/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup ketchup, MIXED WITH
2 dashes hickory liquid smoke
1 can (6 ounce size) tomato paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line two shallow roasting pans with heavy foil.

Make Hickory Sauce: Combine all sauce ingredients; mix well.

Place ribs in a single layer in prepared pans. Roast 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours, or until tender; brush frequently with sauce, and turn occasionally to glaze evenly.
