Talk about easy crockpot shortcuts. Thanks to Italian dressing, this pot roast only needs three ingredients to slow cook itself to zesty, meaty perfection. If you've got a little extra time, browning the beef before tossing it in adds great flavor.
4 pounds boneless chuck roast
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
10 small (1 1/2 to 2-inch size) potatoes
Place the roast in the crock pot. Drizzle the salad dressing over the roast. Tuck the potatoes around the sides of the roast.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 6 hours or until the meat and potatoes are tender.
