I make this as directed but then put it in the crock pot for the rest of the day until it's time to eat

My husband requests this soup about once a week. He never gets tired of it! I use low sodium ingredients and just add my own salt to taste. I've also made this with ground sausage when I didn't have any beef on hand and it was also good (have to drain the meat a bit more so it isn't greasy).

AWSOME!!!! Made this the 1st time & my family went crazy over it. Even my youngest who tends to be a more picky eater LOVED it. We added corn chips, cheese & lettuce & it was fantastic! Could not believe how easy this was to make...will be making this a new family favorite :)

I enjoy making this simple but delicious recipe especially in the colder months. Prep time is very minimal . A friend of mine gave me the recipe and I make it all the time. I now pass it along to my friends and family.

This recipe was delicous, and so easy to make!! I used ground turkey instead of beef, and served it with fat free sour cream and cheddar cheese. I will definitely be making this again.

My husband is the cook in our house. He made this the other night and we all were pleased with it. He said it was easy, and was also easy to clean up afterwards. We will have it again.

This recipe is absolutely wonderful. I served it with Monterey Jack Cheese/Colby and sour cream. My husband couldn't stop raving about it.
Thanks
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
Ranking #1 in nearly every "favorite cookie" poll, the chocolate chip cookie is pretty much the go-to cookie of choice for both kids and grownups alike.
