ingredients
6 cups water
4 thin slices fresh ginger
1/4 pound Korean radish, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 green onions (whites and greens), cut about 2-inch long
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
2 pounds fresh cod, cut into serving pieces
1 teaspoon salt
watercress for garnish
directions
Bring water to a boil and add cod, salt, radish, and ginger. Cook over medium heat about 10 minutes so that the cod is cooked but still firm. Stir in green onions and pepper.
Serve with bowls of rice and garnish soup with the watercress.
