ingredients
4 cups sliced tart apples
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup non-instant oatmeal
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 cup softened butter
directions
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Arrange apples in greased 8 inch square pan. Mix remaining ingredients; sprinkle over apples.
Bake until topping is lightly browned and apples are tender, about 30 minutes. Serve warm with cream if desired.
