Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.

Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest differences. That's definitely the case for this fruit dip. A subtle amaretto note in a standard cream cheese dip takes the whole thing up a notch.

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
7 ounces marshmallow cream
2 tablespoons amaretto or almond extract
Place all ingredients in a medium sized bowl and beat with an electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.
Serve immediately or cover and chill until ready to use.

A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.

Served this with fruit on little skewers for dipping along with cookies (I think I liked the dip on the cookies the best)
