Peaches N Cream

This simple dessert is a classic for a reason - just the right amount of fresh fruity flavor, just the right amount of decadent cream.

ingredients

2 fresh peaches
sugar
1/2 lemon
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

directions

Peel the peaches if desired and remove the pits. Cut into slices or cubes. Sprinkle with sugar if needed (will depend on how sweet the peaches are). Gently squeeze lemon juice over the peaches. Place in an airtight container and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

When ready to serve, whip the cream with the vanilla. Beat until stiff peaks form. Serve over the peaches.
