Keep nearly fresh-like peaches in the freezer for pies and other desserts, any time of the year. Adding baby aspirin to the peaches helps them retain their color.

Slice fresh peaches and remove the pits. Place the peach slices in a freezer zip-top plastic bag. Add 2 chewable baby aspirin per bag. Seal the bag and place in the freezer. The frozen peaches will retain their color for 6-8 months.

I can not wait to go and buy baby asprins at my regular super market and have the clerk ask me what I am going to do with them, since she already knows I am a Grandmother with a married granddaughter. Yes and I am going to try this one because peaches are in right now.
