ingredients

2 tablespoons chopped green onions
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon peeled and minced fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
4 salmon fillets

directions

Combine the green onions, olive oil, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes in a bowl or measuring cup. Mix well and let stand for 15 minutes.

Lightly grease a baking dish. Place the salmon, skin side down, in the dish in a single layer.

Mix the marinade well with a fork then drizzle the marinade evenly over the salmon. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and let the salmon marinate for 1-2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Remove the plastic wrap from the baking dish. Place in the oven and bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time will depend on the thickness of the salmon. Baste the salmon occasionally with the liquid in the dish.
