Ranking #1 in nearly every "favorite cookie" poll, the chocolate chip cookie is pretty much the go-to cookie of choice for both kids and grownups alike.

Baked salmon is always a winner, but the sauce takes this recipe to the next level. Jalapenos give it some bite while butter and sour cream give it a luscious creaminess. Simply sensational.

1 pound salmon fillet
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 1/2 teaspoon butter, melted
salt and pepper, to taste
Sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon butter
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and julienne
1/3 cup sour cream
3/4 teaspoon fresh lime juice
salt and white pepper to taste
snipped fresh chives
lime wedges
Preheat oven to 500 degrees F. Butter baking dish.
Place salmon in dish skin side down. Mix lime juice and butter. Brush over salmon. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Let stand 15 minutes. Bake until fish is almost opaque, about 9 minutes per inch of thickness.
Meanwhile prepare sauce: Melt butter in heavy small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add chilies and cook until tender, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Add sour cream and stir until heated through; do not boil. Mix in lime juice. Add salt and pepper.
Transfer fish to platter. Spoon sauce over. Sprinkle generously with chives. Garnish with lime wedges.

Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

Without a doubt one of the best Salmon Recipes I have ever eaten. On the plus side it is quick and easy as well. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent dish. I made it for our wedding anniversary and my husband absolutely loved it. The cooking time was perfect and the sauce is amazing. Goes great with a bed of rice.
