Broiled Salmon With Hazelnut Butter

ingredients
4 salmon fillets
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
HAZELNUT BUTTER
2 tablespoons hazelnuts, finely chopped
3 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
directions
Prepare Hazelnut Butter (see below).
Set oven control to broil. Grease a shallow roasting pan or jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch.
Sprinkle both sides of fish with salt and pepper. Place in pan. Broil fish with tops 4 to 6 inches from heat for 4 minutes. Turn and spread each fillet with about 1 tablespoon Hazelnut Butter. Broil until fish flakes easily with a fork, 4 to 8 minutes.
HAZELNUT BUTTER: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spread hazelnuts on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown, 4 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Mix with remaining ingredients.
