ingredients
1 cup picante sauce
1 can (10 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10 ounce size) Rotel tomatoes, drained
2 pounds Velveeta cheese, cut into pieces
3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pound ground beef
1 pound bulk pork sausage
directions
Combine the picante sauce, cream of mushroom soup, Rotel tomatoes, oregano, garlic powder, and Velveeta in a crock pot. Cover and cook on high heat while you brown the meats.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and sausage over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until the meat is browned. Drain off any excess grease then add the meat to the crock pot.
Mix the meat and cheese mixture well then cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 1-2 hours or until the cheese is melted, stirring occasionally.
Serve with tortilla chips, potato chips, or crackers.

I have made this recipe several times and get raves every time. The crock pot usually has a crowd around it as it is really addictive! I have even substituted out turkey hot sausage and ground turkey meat instead of the pork sausage and ground chuck and it is still out of this world good. Not for those on a diet for sure but well worth the splurge!
