The perfect basic homemade white bread for sandwiches. The touch of honey adds a sweetness that really elevates the flavor and the bread machine makes this recipe an absolute breeze.

ingredients

3 cups white bread flour
1 cup water
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons dry milk powder
1 1/2 tablespoon honey
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons instant yeast

directions

Place all ingredients in your machines fully assembled pan and in the order specified by your machines manufacturer. Select the Basic or White cycle and press start.

After the first 10 minutes of kneading check the dough and make any necessary adjustments.

    Wow, this is my new favorite bread!! I use the 'dough' setting on my Bread Machine, then bake it in the oven. One of the best breads that I have made!! Pro tip: Bread is 'done' at 190 degrees-most bread machines actually over-cook the bread. Check the temperature of the bread about 20 minutes before the machine stops. You will see a remarkable difference in the texture of the bread.
