Love buffalo wings? Get that same hot, zippy flavor in everything from deviled eggs to enchiladas. And of course: wings.

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup oil
2 apples, chopped (peeled if desired)
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Grease 2 loaf pans.
Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bow. Mix by hand until well blended (do not use an electric mixer).
Pour the apple batter into the prepared loaf pans. Place in the oven and bake at 300 degrees F for 1 hour or until done. A toothpick inserted in the middle of the loaf should come out with moist crumbs on it.
Remove the pans from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
Store the apple bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.

The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

ONE OF MY FAVORITES.... I USE THE JUICER FOR THE APPLES THEN ADD THE JUICE AND THE SHAVINGS TO THE MIX, I REALY SEEM TO TASTE THE APPLE MORE THIS WAY. LOVE IT CAUSE IT'S NOT TOO SWEET!!
The flavor is very good. I tried 3 times to make this bread. Every time it completely fell apart when I removed it from the pan. I tried adjusting the amount of apples, switched the type of flour. Nothing helped. Any suggestions??

This bread could be used as a secret weapon. Have you done something unforgivable to a friend/spouse/foreign country? Just bake them a loaf of this bread and they will forget why they hated you so much. I'm not joking. It's that good. It could probably perform miracles. The only suggestion that I have is to increase the baking time. Just cook it until it looks done. You'll know when that time has come because you will hear angels singing when you open your oven door (or until all of the moisture is off the top).

I expected this to be spectacular based on the other reviews, but it turned out terribly for me. First of all, the cooking time seemed to be way off. I baked it at 300 degrees. I made it into 1 loaf and 2 mini-loaves which seemed to work size-wise, but the mini loaves took about 55 minutes to be done in the middle, and the large loaf took more like 1.5 hrs. It came out dry and crumbly. All of the loaves pretty much fell apart when I took them out. I think that this needs a little experimentation with the cooking temp/time, as well as some more liquid added to the recipe. I am baffled at the reviews that say their loaves came out moist!

After being married to me for 51 years, my husband fell in love again. Wondered about the 300 degree oven, but just added about 10 minutes to cooking time

Great recipe, but I did change a few things. I used slightly less than 1 cup oil, only 1 cup sugar, and added 1/4-cup buttermilk. I topped the bread with a little Trubino Sugar just before putting in the oven. It was exceptionally good.

I found some apples in the fridge and REFUSED to throw them away. Man was I lucky to find those apples, and THIS recipe. It tastes amazing!! But... I had to bake my bread for 2 hours, I'm thinking because the temp was so low. But because it was so low the apples were cooked and so very good.

OMG! so moist! i substituted brown sugar for regular sugar, used apple sauce instead of oil, and used a little extra cinnamon! It was amazing!! best apple bread i've ever had. the batter comes out thick but dont worry, thats what makes it so moist!

Delicious! My family couldn't get enough. I had a few slight changes: used applesauce instead of oil, doubled the vanilla and cinnamon for more flavor & added 1/3 cup milk as batter seemed to thick.

This is a really good recipe. I actually made it using 1/3/4 cups Splenda and 1/4 cup sugar. I also added one mashed banana. I will definitely make it again.

This is a GREAT bread recipe, and is SO easy to make!! The dough is definitely not as runny as other recipes, but it is perfect as-is! I didn't add a full cup of nuts, simply because I don't care for them that much. I added only 1/4 cup of FINELY chopped pecans. The bread turned out just wonderful! So tasty!

I made this to one up my roommate when she made banana walnut bread, and OMG. Everyone fell in love with it. I even brought it over to my ex and he almmost drooled over it. Its so much better after it's been in the fridge overnight for breakfast. At my ex's suggestion, I'm making it a second time with a cream cheese icing. I changed only a few things in my recipe. One, i added dates which gave a very nice complexity. While making the batter, I thought it was WAY to thick, i could barely get a spoon out of it,so i added a little more oil and a half cup of water. The batter was perfect consistency after. I think that the extra oil gave a it a very nice crust to the outside while keeping the inside melt in your mouth good. Definitely try this one!

This was fantastic!! I followed the suggestion to use apple sauce in stead of oil. I used normal Motts, but then went light on the sugar. I suggest including raisons in the recipe, I put them in one loaf and that was the most popular. I served it warm with vanilla ice cream for dessert and it was a huge success!

When I first made this, thought there was an ingredient left out because it was such a thick batter, it did not pour out like many others. Took a chance and my family is glad I did! Wonderful bread, very tasty and moist.
This recipe calls for way too much oil!

The 1st time I made this, I brought it to my in-laws and they completely devoured it! When I shared the recipe with my mom-in-law she couldn't believe how easy it was to make! As was I! I made it again and added a touch of nutmeg/cloves and some raisins and still turned out fantastic!
