Cheesy Halloween Eyeballs

ingredients
2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup flour
1 jar (6 ounce size) pimento-stuffed green olives
directions
Combine cheese and butter. Add salt, paprika, and flour and mix well.
Measure approximately one teaspoon of this mixture and form an "eyeball" around an olive.
Turn the olive in the "eyeball" so that it is "staring" outward.
Line up the eyeballs on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in 400 degrees F oven for 15 minutes.

My whole family loved them! My husband doesn't like olives, but he couldn't leave these alone. My kids have been asking for them every day.
seems like an ingedient is missing - something to hold it all together - perhaps a little water but if so I'm not sure how much.

I made these last year and they were a big hit. They're definitely on the rich side and a tad salty, but they were nonetheless cheezalicious! I'm making these again this year but will use mozzarella instead of the cheddar for a more white eye. One note- these eyeballs will puff up and spread, so space them far enough apart!

These are edible, but I wouldn't advise it. They kind of look like eyes.
